Did you know that the DKI provincial government is holding a New Year's Eve event at several points in Jakarta?

They have mapped out a number of locations to celebrate New Year's Eve in order to unravel the potential for overcrowding due to the fact that we haven’t fully escaped—yet again, from the pandemic. However, these places that we’ve compiled are outdoors and have been carried out from year to year with supervision from the local government. So here are 3 places that we recommend:
- Bundaran HI: Not only one of the icons of the city of Jakarta but also a good spot for New Year's events. From year to year, Bundaran HI always holds events such as music concerts and the Jakarta Night Festival entertainment.
- National Monument aka Monas: There will be many street vendors selling a menu of typical Jakarta foods that you can try while waiting for the New Year celebration party.
- TMII: After being closed for months, TMII is finally open, New Year's celebrations at TMII will usually have art and cultural performances, bazaars, and festive fireworks. The government even opened parking lanes with a total of 4100 parking lots within the area.
